I actually enjoyed 1997 to 00 (Of course it wasn’t comparable to the previous years) I also enjoyed early 2000s R&B and hip hop. shyt literally went left in 2008 imo
Anyone who doesn't like 2000s r&b is buggin. Esp early 2000s (2000-03/04).

With that said, I do also believe that 2008 was the turning point for not just R&B, but music as we know it in general.

Tbh I don't even really consider 08-09 as part of the 00s, l but that's a whole different topic itself.

I was watching the Grammys 1996 Awards… wow, was the competition stacked. Compare that to the Grammys of the last 15 years. :scust:



From the performances to the nominees and winners. Today’s era can’t hold a candle.
