As an adult I would ride transit vehicles that are retired today, visit the Twin Towers, a Mets game at Shea and whatever else that could be done back then that can't be done today in NYC.

Bumpin' 400 Degrees in my dad's landscaping truck (failed my driving test 4 times, but that 5th time was a charm and got my license right before summer).



It was an 85 Chevy so there was no bass... but that treble along with Mannie's hi-hats were the truth. Judge Mathis.



Was about to enter my senior year in the fall... so you know my ass was getting ready to take over from the 99 into 2 thowzin!!!

Had the red Pontiac sitting on 100 spokes shined up for the weekend. Had the nokia phone with the light up antenna. Polo from head to feet. Working on Financial aid for community college. Had a few hoes in rotation

Bumping "no pigeons" on my Walkman after recording it off hot97. Spending the day with my older cousin who was visiting from the south, and my uncle as he drove an MTA bus through Brooklyn. I'm from the burbs, so I've never seen anything like that. We then went to spend the weekend at his spot in the BX, where we were immediately greeted with gunfire. Never seen anything like that either...
