Anyone who travels much knows that there are hundreds of cities worldwide who desperately need to do this. The combination of traffic and pollution is downright disgusting in most urban population centers right now.

Yeah, I really wish they would clamp down on diesel and box trucks in general in the city. Even on some of the busier avenues in Brooklyn the fumes are choking.


One awesome thing I read recently is that here we're going to curb a lot of pollution though setting up zones for private garbage companies instead of them overlapping

A lot of the world is switching to CNG for commercial trucks and public transport. It's not the best option but it's obviously better than petroleum.

Even the passenger cars annoy the hell out of me. I'll be in gridlock somewhere in Asia of something, the kind that you can't even walk through, and half the cars will be these sedans with a single person in them....how many times are you going to take one hour to travel three miles before you realize that taking up that much space to transport just one person is a stupid, stupid idea on today's urban roads?
