TO the other post about what's more important @Francis White ---I've found that weapons training bring groups and communities closer. look at small military units.. those people become your brothers.

Many issues we have are due to fear of society and of one another...

Plus just because you form defense teams.. doesn't mean you have to negate healthcare, education, and technology. The original BPP showed us that.

As the corruption of the cac run state becomes more evident/unbearable, I expect privatization to look more and more viable.
