I'm partial to Acura because my pops has worked for them for damn near 20 years. But my gawd, it's increasingly difficult to root for these dumb fukks. Peep their lineup:

ILX (MSRP: $27K)

:dempsee: Straight up embarrassing. This shyt looks like a Hyundai.

TLX (MSRP: $30K)

Better but still a distant last place compared to their competitors.

RLX (MSRP: $48K)

Has anyone ever seen this trash on the streets? EVER?!?

This is embarrassing for a once proud and storied brand. They have no flagship vehicle. The TL could've been that until they completed flopped with the 4th gen models (2009-2014). They have no coupes, horrendous styling, lack power, no clear vision or demographic they appear to be targeting. Why would anyone buy the garbage Acura is putting out?

I put an F22B, (the Prelude engine before the H22) and threw a turbo in there.

I had the f22b dohc too. Felt the same as a bolt on F22a. My bolt on H22 accord though But preludes were on a whole different level with the handling. Felt like go karts

Anyway I copped the f22B cause I wanted to go turbo, and you needed the DOHC for that. The h22 was faster, but for the amount I woulda dropped on a h22 (about $2gs), I couldve had a f22b, installed a turbo at like 10-15psi = ~300whp. We not with that N/A shyt we do the LOUD blow the doors off most civics and hondas in the tuner game

Acura is still a good name brand for Honda. The American market is unlike the Asian and European markets, and American perceive they are getting more for their money with an Acura. All Honda (or even Nissan and Toyota) need to do is add leather interior, some new badges and babooey, add $10 K to the price and they sell.
Acura has a weird mess of vehicles in their lineup. Honda models are good. They need to realign their models up. Economy from small to big:. Fit, CR-Z, Civic, CR-V, Accord, Odessey, and Ridgeline. Acura from small to big: ILX, TLX, RLX, RDX, and MDX.
