Ok y'all, it's time for this discussion. It's been a long time coming, so we gotta do it. Who is the better rapper between Tip and Wayne

For me, this is Tip easily. A lot of Wayne's shyt has not aged well. He was mos def Quantity over Quality and Style over Substance. Like @FreshAIG said, a lot of them Punchline rappers did not really age well at all

nikkas used to come for my head when I told them T.I. would be remembered as the better rapper when it was all said and done. Now it's 2024 and it's pretty much universally agreed upon that T.I. was the better rapper. Rap would of been in a much different position if T.I. didn't go to prison and he got to birth the next generation and not Wayne.

Yea we're gonna have to have that convo about Tip being a better rapper/artist than Wayne pretty soon

Wayne was literally the definition of Flash over Substance

2009 me wouldn't have thought it was such a crazy idea to say T.I., but would have definitely questioned it.

Nowadays, it's T.I. for sure. Waynes 2004-09 run was legendary, but T.I. has better quality of albums and less trash music. Unfortunately for Wayne, putting out garbage does drop your score imo.

Tips discography is better but I’ll take Wayne tapes from the prefix to the drought is over 3 over everything Tip has made
