There's a reason good GMs don't get too close to players. In a salary capped league, if you wanna win chips, you gotta be willing to pay guys only what they're worth, and hopefully less.
And If they're fukkin up, you gotta have zero compunction about shippin em off to whatever goofy ass franchise is willing to give you the best deal
Cavs have the highest payroll of any NBA team this year. JR and Tristan eat almost 1/3 of their cap space. Shyt is super ugly

Toronto has a an all star/all-nba SG (no matter how you think of DeRozan), Phoenix has one of the best (if not the top) young SG in the league so I don't get why you're using them as an example
