listen man. .. the media line on Izzo has always been "don't bet against Izzo in the postseason" ... that's just simply not true and hasn't been for years. this shyt is inexcusable.

I'd add Calhoun (3 Titles, & no disrespect to Ollie, but that 4th title team was put together by Calhoun as well), Pitino ( 2 titles with 2 different teams)
I think Izzo is a great coach as well, but I can think of other coaches who have done more with less. When you start talking GOAT tier coaches, only one active is K...but Izzo is definitely an elite college coach. He just not in that GOAT tier.

they make it seem like he's championship caliber year in and year out and he's not. he's not a tier one coach. they wanna make it seem like Izzo is Coach Ks last competition and he's not. Izzo is tier 2.

Nobody is tier 1 in college anymore...not even coach k...Kevin Ollie won it his first time out...those coach dean coach Thompson coach knight days are over ...it's anybody's opportunity now
