However, an "algorithm" that was proposed by @duckbutta was
2 black parents - Black
Anything else - Not Black
So...it would logically follow that Malcolm's mother would fall into "Not black"...
So how could a Not black & black create Black?
Again...you think those that have oppressed us aren't licking at their chops to see further division among our people that they aren't experiencing euphoria every time we sit her and try to exclude people who face the same discrimination as a "non-mixed" black person?

If you have parents of significant African ancestry (at least 40%, visible phenotype) then you are Black in my world.

Let a person be excluded when they SHOW if they are a c00n or not.

So, in essence...
A person who has an identifiable White mother & an identifiable black father... is NOT BLACK.
But he could get his legacy back on track by having a child w/ a Black woman... and then that child having a Black woman/man?
I think it's deeper than that, but a bit more simple. I think being black is a combination of genetics & spirit/mind. I don't have the time to articulate it though, at work.

Agreed, but I wouldn't say these ideals have anything to do with being "black"
The ideas of race in this country come from a place of total ignorance and misunderstanding. Trying to make some criteria for who is "black" or not is like trying to make sense of creationism. The source material is so far from logic, that you'll never come to a logical conclusion.
In my opinion we shouldn't be worried who's included or not. Just look out for your family and support those that support you.
