Jalen didn't play into the fake debate rhetoric that Skip and Stephen A. engage in. Jalen went straight for the jugular and took a lot of the sting out of Skip's critiques of basketball players.

Jalen is my dude. Nikkas got to realize you have to be a little corny while on tv with white people. If you kept 100 gangsta, half the time they wouldn't know what you were talking about. I think he finds the perfect medium of street and professional. One of the few black men to pull that off on tv.

I used to like Simmons for what he was... kinda think he sucks now but I enjoy listening to him and Jalen because they cut out most of the bullshyt that all of the other outlets discuss. ESPN would have never done 15 minute segments previewing each team. Jalen can get a little ehhh when it comes to the nightlife shyt but otherwise he's giving solid analysis in those pieces and I like the shot chart segments.

Yea, he was on his way to (or from) a party or something. I came in while he was going to the register. Talked to him about First Take (this was before they banned him ) then asked him a good question (Lebron related ) while he was on his way out. He stopped to answer and we had a short convo....maybe more like 3 min but you get the picture. He wasn't like the celebrity type you cant approach, just a regular dude from Detroit, which is the point of this thread.
