I noticed the trend after rumble. Meltzer was like "i thought it was great, one of their best ppvs in a years" and the law guys like "well we didnt get kenny omega or samoa joe or any surprises, the rumble match was bad" and i could hear dave like "why would you expect that and be mad you didnt get it...."I don't get the hate for the event. I enjoyed it for the most part.
"My guy didnt win, it sucked" and "this was too soon/too late" are the dumbest reasons to not like something.
If you go to a burger restaraunt, and you say "i would like your best item" and they present you a burger, and the burger was outstanding, you cant say "the burger wasnt bad but i wanted pizza, i dont like my meal"

when they review old NWA, AWA and any old school wrestling shows to the point where they act like its a major chore to talk about anything wrestling that current... although they do praise New Japan.
