Alvarez is one of the few dudes that's been doing it forever and also wrestled too. He overreacts to shyt but it's kinda his gimmick, but he'll give praise to even people like Stroman if he likes the match.

But like Bayley winning tonight and another hot potato angle...its kind of predictable and does hurt the victory and if Naomi doesnt have a story/promo back and forth with Alexa before EC and just wins without any push in terms of WWE creating a story that does kinda seem random from a needing a payoff standpoint. So I can see that issue being fair.

I don't listen to WOR if it's not Dave. Alvarez and Simpreve or whatever are just so unbearably corny and bad it's unlistenable. Dave and Alvarez really have no chemistry too. Dave has no sense of humor and basically no sells Alvarez sarcasm/jokes. But like someone mentioned early, Dave has contacts, history and knowledge that no one in the business can compare to. He can spend 20 minutes going over the detailed history of the XFL or the life of Chaco Sr with insider never before heard stories. Alvarez is really nothing more then an faceless internet snark. If it's not AJ styles or some NXT Indy darling he shyts on it

I've actually noticed this about Bryan and Vinnie. Bryan Alvarez is at the point that he's set in his way of he doesn't like anything new or crazy and Vinnie just hates everything of the current era. The fact that they just refuse to talk about anything TNA, refuse to talk about Smackdown and bytch about Raw and Lucha Underground episodes made me stop listening to them regularly and I only listen on rare occasions.



Funny thing is that Bryan and Vinnie are always when they review old NWA, AWA and any old school wrestling shows to the point where they act like its a major chore to talk about anything wrestling that current... although they do praise New Japan.

Much more than that......
If they don't like the new stuff.......it's their loss
You can watch old tapes all you want but the business is evolving,dare I say for the better
If they refuse to talk about any promotion or show,they should be not doing this anymore
A fan must hear opinions on and news from all the promotions

Elimination Chamber wasn't bad or good. It was just there with a few high points in the event. The problem with the event was the fact that it just felt a bit off. Timing, matches with weird pacing issues, botches, and other typical minor gripes that comes with the territory of every wrestling event. The fact that it's Smackdown's doing, of course folks are going to shyt on it because "superior" product, rather than see that even good brands have meh moments.
