RL is too commercial. And those ponys are too large and too loud.

I swear these companies started making larger more ostentatious logos when ostentatious ass rappers from the hood started getting hip.

I've always favored Lacoste polos. They fit better than RL. I stopped supporting them when they started making larger croc logos that just looked cartoonish. I might start buying from them again because of their new campaign to raise awareness of the worlds endangered species.

I would typically buy polos that had logos that were the same color as the shirt so that it was not even noticeable. The whole point of the prep look was to be unassuming. Those loud ass logos do the opposite and makes a person wearing them look affected.

On average about 300, I wear a lot of cheap quality shyt like Polo, Old Lo Sport, and Fred Perry. And I’m a 90s baby so nostalgia tees like PlayStation tees, dbz tees, etc

I don't really fukk with Ross or TJ Maxx because there isn't one close to me. I stop in Marshall's once every couple weeks though to see what they got. You can get some gems in there. I hit up thrift stores too. Salvation Army, value village, etc. My local Salvation Army always got a bunch of Polo shyt. I've came up on some Dior shyt. They had a rack of brand new Champion tees for a 50 cent a piece, I bought like 5 of em, was gonna buy all the ones in my size but I ain't a selfish nikka, wanted to let other nikkas eat, especially if they in need. I got some nike flyknit chukkas from there too, joints look brand new, $5. You gotta hit thrift spots early in the morning on the weekends if you wanna get the good shyt tho.

This is true. Thrift stores have some jems, I came up on some vintage polo sport, nautica, tommy hill, track jackets etc.

An entire vintage clothing market is online and you can cop those items for a fraction of the price in store.
