I overheard the janitor say this to a black manager :ohhh:

Long story short do you feel like a black man should go out of his way to show other races that we are not all the same or at least we are not the stereotypes that we are portrayed as in movies and music? :patrice:

This questions implies that most black men are "like that" to begin with which we all know is false. That most black men live up to negative stereotypes which again is false. So I shouldnt have to prove shyt to anyone because millions of us disprove those stereotypes on the daily. fukk em :yeshrug:

But a black person told him this did you read the post
Nah, I saw the thread title and went into attack mode because I'm so use to white folk using this "token to your race" talking point. Sorry breh but to answer your question I would tell the c00n janitor the same thing.

This reminds me back like 7-8 years ago when I was going into Target....this fat cac woman who said she was a teacher thanked me. I was like huh...she said me dressing in my dress khaki pants and button down (my job people normally wear business casual). She said I showed a different image of a stereotyped black man that's in the news and media.

I could've gotten a lil perturbed with the cac bytch but I didn't because I thought about the media and news and I know that black men sometimes aren't shown as professional.
