So. Cal
My AMD build runs everything fine so no u dont need Intel especially if you're on a budget. AMD is exactly for budget gamers.

i multi thread besides gaming so AMD still my #1 choice

FX-8350 vs i5-4670k

  • In multi-threaded programs, the FX-8350 processor has 2% higher performance.

  • The Intel Core i5-4670K CPU is 53% faster in single-threaded applications.

for the people wondering what this means

single threading is 90% of the games ever created

I would think 53% performance trumps 2% performance

Screw the 760's pay that extra 100$ and get the 770 which is top 5 performance wise for an amazing price.

:whoa: the point is to save money and still be able to play games..

not only that a 770 GTX is $200 more than a 660 GTX..

and honestly buying a 700 series at this point in time, you do know the 800 series are coming out like next month right ?

and the 870 GTX, which history tells us, will be better than a 780GTX or on par with it at worst, will be the same price as the 770GTX you are talking about right now
