I wouldn't say life is swell for Chris Brown. Till this day, his incident with Rihanna still haunts him through the media, his career, and people around him. He could had more potential career-wise if he didn't hit her. Yea, Dre is rich and easy going but he still had to apologize 20+ years later for hitting Dee Barnes during the premier of his movie. People still believe OJ killed Nicole with no doubt, despite there being holes in the whole murder case. When black entertainers do something bad, it always lingers on them and it affects their careers. There's a reason why Chris Brown or R.Kelly aint popping compared to other singers. It's not that XXX gets a "pass" either. He has a small fanbase and many of them are young teens that are depressed, weird, and like rebelliousness.
