For real though, breh. How is having all your shyt scattered about better than having it organized? :dahell:

I have ALL my music on the x-drive and then port it out to different devices as I see fit. Having my phone library on my laptop is way better than just an SD card. What if you lose your phone? Now you have to build that library all over? In iTunes you just hit sync. :yeshrug:

It's a different system with a learning curve, can't deny that, but there is a method to the madness.

iTunes is a complete music manager. I was trying to learn how to change album art on Android and someone told me he does it in iTunes. :heh:

It is organized, I have my stuff cataloged; I don't need Apple to tell me where my music is:why:, especially if I could add/delete music at will on my phone.:pachaha:

First off, if you have an iPhone you HAVE to use iTunes. That's why I made this tutorial for those people.

But even when I had a Blackberry I used to do the same thing. I'd have all my music on the x-drive and made a separate folder for the music I wanted on my phone in case I got a new SD card or something. I didn't have to go diggin in the crates for mp3's. It's a backup system.

If you lose your phone today, can you build your library back up exactly how it was with the click of a button? :leostare:

you don't even have to hit sync in itunes. As soon as i move music to my phone, it automatically syncs

I used to do it like that but you may encounter a problem down the line that's gonna make you wanna throw that iPhone out the window. If your shyt gets deleted somehow, you're gonna be moving all that music back to your phone. Why not just move it to iTunes once and use the sync button?

Apple actually made it easy, they just didn't tell anybody how to do it. :yeshrug:

all my music is in Itunes, about 200GB of it. can't and don't need all that on my phone, so when i add something new, i drag it over to my phone once all the info, album art, etc is right. if i all of sudden need to listen to some old Outkast, i drag it over to the phone. itunes is my hub for all my music because it so easy to organize and update info...

Oh ok. Yeah if you already have all your music in iTunes that makes it even easier.

I'm trying to tell these boys iTunes isn't as bad as they say once you know how to use it.

It's funny you say that because I was never like that before Apple. I didn't give a fukk because there was no way for me to really change things. Now everything has to be on point because I'm easily able to do so. :banderas:

But what if you have music on different pc's and such?

I dont have much experience with itunes but can you sync with more than one desktop/laptop?

Google lets me upload from any computer with the manager program on it.... So if i see a mixtape/album on here i can upload it while im at work and not have to wait until i get to the crib.

Or i could just download the music directly to my device and play it directly in the player :yeshrug:

Apple took that feature out a few years back for some odd reason, probably because of piracy. you can only have one iTunes music library sync'd to your iPod

Breh, in all honesty, this isn't a stan wars thread. This was intended for people who use iTunes and may have had trouble doing so.

Like I said above, iTunes really does help you get organized. Music all over the place can't be as efficient as all music in one place.

You can download to your phone instantly? That's great. I can listen to a track on the go if I need to also. Then when I get home, I'll organize it. Get the proper album art, assign a genre to it, etc.

It's funny you say that because it just feeds into my notion of Android being hodge podge. Apple is refined. iTunes is precision based. Not a bunch of random mp3's thrown together and called a library.

Both have pros and cons. One pro for iTunes is the organizational standpoint. After dealing with iTunes the past few years, what you just said makes me sick to my stomach. I would never want to see such disorganization on my phone.

To each his own, breh. This thread is about iTunes. :yeshrug:
