So i'm trying to organize the music on my iPhone and apparently you can't browse your music on there by the column browser anymore. they removed the feature for no reason so you have to look at a great pool with all your music and scroll through all your songs.

on top of that if i plug my iPhone up to my netbook or second desktop to add a song that's not possible. it can only have music added by the original computer it synced with and for any other computer to do so the iPhone has to be erased first.

i'm trying not to go back to Android because that's another set of hassles for me.

no its not. you can browse your library on the computer with the column browser but not on an iPhone. they removed it. i know cause i went to Apple's forums and people were bytching about it and Apple hasn't even addressed it.

now on the computer if you go to the word songs under the apple logo you can get it but on the iPhone nope.

shyts a hassle, My wife has an Iphone but yet I can't put music on her phone through my computer because I used it to put music on my son's Ipod. I'm just like, why can't I put music on both through my computer?

Maybe its cause I don't use it all the time but that shyt just isn't user friendly at all in my opinon. I can plug up my phone on any computer, drag and drop the files to my phone and start playing it immediately.

I'm not trying to get into a debate or whatnot, But does anyone know why they make it so diffcult. I'm sure it may be for copyright reasons or something else... But I'm just wondering

probably for music piracy same reason Apple doesn't officially let you copy music from the iDevice back to a computer. sure you can do that with Sharepod but not on iTunes.

i'm sorry i got caught up in this whole Apple ecosystem.

The dumbest thing about iTunes 11...if you're in Album View mode and you have your iPhone plugged in, when you switch between your iPhone music library and your iTunes library, it scrolls back to the top automatically. So then you gotta scroll back down to find where the hell you were at.

In the library, choose view and select column browser then choose show column browser. Though, itunes sucks at managing music have you jail broken yours?

that option is greyed out and unselectable when viewing the library on an iPhone. even if you hit ctrl shift b nothing happens. yeah mine is jailbroken.

iTunes is a hassle and the only thing I don't like about using iPhones. I've figured out some workarounds that make the experience tolerable, but I wish they'd add some drag and drop functionality.

Or are we talking just iTunes-iPhone integration, cuz I don't have an iPod, but as far as music management, I haven't found a better program. I'd be open to one.
