I've always been a Romo fan. A gutless squad like the Cowboys, don't deserve him.

he had a great season last year, but if he was black, they would have lynched him by now, and i don't even believe people discriminate like that

Romo is very good, but I have doubts about him being a championship QB. I just don't think he has the intense desire to win and is just happy with being the man in Dallas. He is the type of guy who would rather hang out with the guys instead of working out or spending extra time in the film room.

Fair enough...but I mean...Nikkaz said the same with Eli. Also, Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer were championship QB's, so why can't Romo be one?

How do you know he doesn't want to win, though? I don't know much about his work ethic...but I've never really heard anyone question it.

Romo's issue isn't that he isn't highly talented or really good, because he is...he just has a tendency to do dumb shyt at the worst possible times!

He doesn't make too many mistakes, but he makes them at the most important junctures.

Meanwhile, a guy like Eli Manning makes mistakes often, but come winning time, dude is damn near flawless.

Well, he did underthrow Crayton in the 07 wild card game. That type of thing wouldn't show up in the boxscore. It seems like if he doesn't throw a silly INT or fumble late in games, he'll be inches away on a critical throw. Another example is when he overthrew Austin last year on what would have been a game-winning throw.

Great stats though :smugfavre:

no, eli became a championship winning QB before he actually became a good/very good QB tho.

romo is the case of a very good statistical QB being on a playoff choker team (to be fair, his team never had the D to carry the team like Giants or Steelers did)...and he didnt help the team's cause in the big games either.

i rather start a bottom tier bum and get a chance at barkley next year than keep having seasons where we barely miss the playoffs or get put out in the first round due to homo throwin the game

its only so much jerral can take :to:

A lot of people questioned his dedication and work ethic after he took a trip to Cabo right before a playoff game.
