Yeah the dream is to make six figures or high five figures but honestly making over median income would be nice too if you’re not constantly stress.
Tech jobs that aren't true tech jobs. For example, I’m a consultant that implements/maintains cloud-based HR software. They usually require information SYSTEMS degrees or something comparable. But the software is more like pseudo code than actual coding. Understanding how to code makes the job easier, but it isn’t required. If you’ve been doing the job for 4+ years then you’re probably making 6 figures. Think Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, etc. Doing the same job on the consultant side always pays much better than working internally.

The job CAN be high stress depending on the client and how demanding they are, but for the most part it’s easier. If you’re a pretty smart person you can get a days worth of work done in a half a day. My job is so laid back right now that I’m volunteering to do more. But I also have an easy client at the moment.

Data Analyst easily. Pretty much any role where you can overemploy. Designer comes to mind. I know people who has 3 remote web design positions.

As long as the company doesn’t micromanage (tons of meetings, requiring FaceTime shyt, etc) you should be straight

Fintech is a field I’d avoid if you want to be stress free. Medtech on the data side (engineer or scientist, not familiar with analyst roles) is relatively stress free.

You have to ask the right questions.
I’ve dabbled in programming, liked it
Got a book on Sec+ and Udemy course.

Pretty much the more I read/learn on different tech field. All the paths sound interesting. Cloud Architect, even though that’s quite a path.

I’d you’re getting into tech now and your aim is low stress/low effort, you’re better off just learning a trade… entry level and mediocre tech people are about to get decimated.
I didn’t say low effort.
