McCormick tells us she started using the rowing machine after she had both knees replaced in her seventies and could no longer run marathons.

I’ve upped my rowing output and pleased with the results

Still might hit a 15-20 min at a higher intensity before work here and there, but I try not to row less than 30 minutes at a time.

Last sunday, rowed for almost 3 hours and didn’t bother me in the least. Took a small break after every 30 minute cycle, but it felt pretty good.

I would mainly row during the quarters of a game. Each quarter is actually close to 30 minutes in length with all the bullshyt whistles and bullshyt ads.

In like a game and a half I was basically through :ehh:

I noticed an immediate difference too.. in physical appearance which rarely happens for me at first.

I had these pesky “love handles” that I have been trying to get rid off for a min (the spare tire from years of drinking) and rowing wasn’t the ONLY thing I was doing, I just increased my output strictly with that and noticed the immediate change almost a few days after the 3 hour row.

I am also taking certain supplements, back on my high protein/med carb and lowfat diet, basically cut out drinking (maybe a day or 2 here and there past few months), significantly increased my water intake (bought a free-falling water purifier that I probably have to refill like twice a week), and was still in the gym while adjusting from full body workouts back to focusing on specific sections of the body and specific body parts.. mainly to rest other bodyparts and reduce injury and while increasing frequency.

Not sure how long I will keep it up but it’s time to take it serious again.

Anything you can buy for your house and use it easily is a bonus for me, sometimes gym can be a chore after work etc.

I got a cycling machine but I looking into this now. :whoo:

Watch a movie or a TV show while working your ass off.
