The whole point is for us as humans to be able to live as God...but it has to be earned...yes Heaven is real and the ultimate reward...but that does not diminish our experience on earth....we need heaven on earth as well...we need peace and happiness...we cant achieve that on our own because of our ability to make bad choices...we make bad decisions whether we control it or not...Allah is all knowing but created the devil for a reason...He is GOD..We are gods that can live in peace if we choose to...the whole point of life is to earn the right to live like God (in peace and happiness) but we dont just get because he loves us...it has to be earned

Yes there is an afterlife...I don't know if you'll actually meet your loved ones there....The Qur'an teaches that we should separate from all non-belivers...in God, not Islam...including our own mothers...So that's a tough question to answer because there is no way of knowing if your love ones make it
