How do yall get past the first episode without falling asleep:why:? I've tried to watch this series at least a dozen times and failed.
The first few episodes are slow as fukk, especially if you never watched the show and already know where the story is headed.

They gotta set the stage and let you see who the major players are, their motivations etc. About halfway through S1, it starts to pick up and is pretty engaging all the way.

There's not much wasted dialogue. Just about everything that's said from the various characters ends up being important....even if it takes awhile to understand what was meant.

Not only is it one of the GOAT shows, it has the best community and fans on the internet. Everytime I go back and watch Wire clips on YouTube, I’m amazed at some of the dialogue and theories between people in the comment sections. Reddit as well. nikkas will have you like :ohhh: “How tf I ain’t peep that shyt. I need to rewatch AGAIN.”
