You couldn't afford to keep a Horry today. A guy with his defensive versatility, shooting ability at his size, and penchant for coming through in big moments would fukk around and get $15 mil a year somewhere. And that team would be mad as fukk in the first 47 minutes and a half minutes from Nov-Apr like "Damn nikka you really just ain't gonna shyt until the game/season is on the line? :gucci:" :russ:

baby, that was the old me
Ron wasn't a role player, or at least shouldn't have been in his prime

He was the number on that 61-win Pacers team, and was heading for another great season but that brawl incident fukked it up and probably denied him from reaching the level he could've had.

And he was still good with SAC/HOU, it wasn't until he went to LA that he truly became a role player :manny:

Sam I Am wasn't one either and should've/could've made at least 1-2 more all star games :manny:

Exactly if you were a star in your hayday & got older then became a role player.... that shyt doesn't count.

After 1995 finals, everybody thought Horry was going to be the NBA next young superstar. It didn't happen, but he still had solid career with amazing moments.

his role in Lakers championships gets overlooked though.:sas2:

Duncan said it perfect. Horry was talented AF but he basically just hung out and didn't give a shyt most of the year. He only cared when it mattered, and when it did he showed up.
