Thing about the UK , they hate the police,
two years ago I got stopped and it was my fault , the light was on orange , i tried to beat it and i went through a red light , they stopped me
and they were cool, I didnt mind the fine but I didnt want the points on my license , so I was trying to reason with them If there was a way round it
within 10 minutes theres a mob around us , from old women doing shopping to the man dem ,to,the asian dons , they didnt know what it was about but they were cursing the police out , I tried to reason with the people because I didnt want things to escalate " its cool its a minor just a traffic thing"
They wasnt trying to hear that , so of course police called back up and now three marked cars are on the scene , so now people start bringing out phones, people stopping in their cars to watch , I just told the guy "just give me the ticket" ... to give him his due he just said be careful and they let me go
Unless its for a traffic violation, I know in London , they wont pull you over unless there are at least two - three cars , I was stopped in an area I
dont live in , If I was a known guy from the ends it would have kicked off
The main reason why most of police arent armed , and say that they dont want to be armed is because they know if police started shooting suspects like they do in the USA people would literally start walking around killing them , thats why you cant see a policeman walking , always in fukking cars , theres a lot of guys walking around that arent right in the head , they just need a reason
The police are just as racist as the States , but they try and deal with people in a professional manner because the minute they say anything rude it goes from 0-100 in a second ....

Encounters in public pretty much always go from 0-100 over here, that's part of the reason why they know to behave themselves for the most part. That officer that got hacked to death in Broadwater Farm Haitian style back in '85 was over the death of a black woman whose home got raided when they were looking for her son. Over here, you just can't get away with killing black people in public right in front of the cameras because it would be a literal bloodbath. They're not gonna just kill an innocent black child in the streets and get away with it.
They've been behind a lot of black deaths in police custody, incarcerations and black people being sectioned in mental health facilities but a lot of shyt is kept under wraps. That black woman, Sarah Reed who died at the hands of police never had her story publicised like that, but I guarantee if most people knew about that situation you would have had worse riots than what happened over Mark Duggan.
And yeah, their racism is legendary, but like the rest of the country they just pretend as if it's just an American thing and everyone here gets along when it couldn't be further from the truth. A cop tried to set me up back in 2004 but luckily a solicitor handled that and it didn't go any further. Yes it does matter. Do you know how bad the police would get the business here if they didn't carry guns? Nobody would fear them and we'd have been tore up more stuff especially the police stuff. So I'll give them halfway props. You can't fight back if you're out gunned.
