The first two are sublime. Just as good as people say they are. Basically the whole thing is an exercise in subtlety and once you get that then there are multiple levels to everything going on


Im not even saying i clocked it all at once....on my first watch i kept pausing it cos i didnt want it all to finish too quickly...it was quality, but there was stuff i didnt quite understand


Then i read the books and to get a better understanding and watched them both again like



Pacinos evolution from decent army boy to the cold calculating monster he becomes is unreal


The scenes with vito and fannuci and the religious parade is top 5 most atmospheric scenes in cinema imo. You feel like you are there.
