Kids won't fulfil you either but they'll keep you engaged for another 20/30 years. And when it's all said and done - the relationships you invested in you will cherish and value forever. But that's love... God is love.. so the love you share with other people is the divine in you and them which makes it so powerful.

40 is still young enough to trick yourself into thinking your career and trinkets will always fulfill you, as long as you can still go out and play when you feel like it.

When you 60, looking at retirement, living in a big, empty, quiet house, surrounded by all the shyt you’ve collected over the years that no longer brings you any joy, you’re too old to move around and dating life is non existent, that’s when reality gone set in for some of these nikkas and I feel sorry for them.

I disagree. Men spend so much time trying to please everyone and their bullshyt they never get truly take care of themselves.

Im 39 with a 19 year old and one that's about to be 16. My life would have been totally different. I would have saved myself multiple headaches dealing with each of their mothers.

The fact is cats jumped to conclusions. OP described himself and said he "guesses" he's unfulfilled, he never told us his friends were of a certain age without wives or children. There's plenty of mutliple baby mama ass nikkas who don't have a true life purpose and do what the law requires them to do for their children and not much else.

Y'all need some damn kids or something to look forward to.

I don’t have kids yet but I feel so fulfilled finally being self sufficient and able to give back to my family.

We took my nieces and nephews to six flags last week. They’re finally tall enough to ride roller coasters. I had more fun enjoying them experience the park for the first time, than I ever had going myself.

I’m fulfilled because I can contribute to my family flourishing.

Yeah this ain't a good message. We got millions of kids suffering through poor broken environments, kids that were molested, kids sold through human trafficking. If some people do not want kids that's their decision. And to say kids give you fulfillment is quite silly. Kids do not automatically mean fulfillment. The last thing you want to do is live your life through your kids who may very well resent you or maybe you are a good parent but they go on to be shytty adults.

I understand incel talking points, but the grass ain't always greener on the other side.

How do yall deal with feelings of unfulfillment and not really having a purpose?

We find purpose in our people.

We are not meant to come here, throw ourselves and all of our time into a "career" for money or career's sake. We are meant to connect, cooperate, provide service to one another AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, ALLOW OTHERS THE SAME KINDNESS.

I know how some people are, I know how I am. I was born with my back against the wall, I had low expectations too, of myself, of the world in front of me because all I really known is how to survive and maintain. If you want a way out of that...find somebody to love on. Not just for romantic comfort, but find someones' life to enrich and watch yours be in turn. Don't turn away help, you don't get any extra points in this game for degree of difficulty. But if you refuse to receive the help you need all the time, you will be denying purpose for that other soul.

i'm not rich but i have a nice income and can do most things i want.. i just got a promotion yesterday that i discussed on here and i'm happy... but do i stop there.. no. Money really cannot buy happiness over the long term. it helps no doubt but u gotta find other outlets than just that..

Between private school and all of their extra curricular activities, I’ve been pretty much paying college tuition for all of them all this time.

My twins will start college in 2 years and I’ll just transfer the expenses to their university, minus the scholarships the good Lord will bless us with.

I ain’t trippin.

My wife and I will have 5 successful, college educated adults holding us down once we decide to retire.

They were the best investment I ever made, no comp.

this may or may not be a factor in your specific case but social media can make you think the grass is greener on the other side. Watching only the highlights of other people's lives can have you rethinking things.

Humans beings #1 purpose in life is to procreate & keep the human race alive.

If you dont have kids, you will always feel unfulfilled. That's why people who dont want kids end up getting a pet. Everyone has something in them to want to nature & raise.

Plenty of kids already here that need nurturing, adults too. If you don't or can't have any, you can still find fulfillment in connection.
