Well, Ryback just seems like a guy who tries way too hard to play a character. No one in the world has a personality like that. Way too over the top, to the point of being ridiculous.

Daniel Bryan is a multi-dimensional talent, the "yes" thing is just one layer of it. Taker's character is very unique, has been established for 20 years and there's no sign of a guy trying too hard to play the part. It comes naturally to Mark Calaway and a lot of his actions are calm and subtle. The character was a natural fit for him from the beginning, even though it's obviously not realistic.

Ryan Reeves is way over the top playing a really one-dimensional role as Ryback which has essentially been done before, and better, by Goldberg. Big difference.

As far as Gold Van Damberg goes, they need to do something with him. they just seem to be throwing random new characters out there (Gold Van Damberg, Broadus, Sandow, etc.) without any storyline or direction.
