I've never been to Paris, but it seems overrated. Am I wrong?

I just don't see why i'd visit outside of major tourist attractions. I mean even Germany seems more interesting and more lively with respect to activities and engagement in major cities.

This isn't to say the rest of France isn't dope...but Paris just screams "you're not missing much"

You're wrong. Their is so much to do in Paris a week is not enough to see everything . Just immersing yourself in the cultures visiting the different neighborhoods, eating at the different cafés is an experience in itself.
