let me get this straight. you guys are talking about big boi being underrated and NONE OF YOU COULD POST UP ANY RECENT SOLO WORK OF HIS?ya just as bad as the haters.

Just because nikkas like 3k more than Big don't mean they think Big is wack or cant spit as well.... and it also don't mean they want 3k solo without Big..

That's some recent nikkas start doin...while they wuz a group I don't even remember nikkas eager for a Andre solo which is a true test of when one nikka in a group is favored over the other.....nikkas asked for a methodman solo,nikkas wanted a Bizzy Bone solo,nikkas wanted a prodigy solo...if 3K wuz s much better than Big like nikkas wanna rewrite that would've been the same thing with Outkast....we wanted them nikkas to stay a group....so ask yourself if they were considered close enuff on talent that nikkas wuznt beggin for a 3K solo....how is it possible with them both being responsible for the same albums basically....how can 3K be in sum of these fools top3 and Big Boi not be in they top 10

Who gives a fukk what you remember.. No one ever said that 3K was "soooo" much better than Big, but if that's who the majority preferred
nikkas wasn't fiending for a solo joint before because they were a DUO.. that complimented each other well dropping masterpiece after classic.. Why would we want them to change??.. only reason nikkas want it now is out of anticipation because 3k said he was working on a solo joint and this nikka aint drop shyt since Idlewilde
I agree with both sides. Big Boi is underrated. Big Boi's gift and curse will always be 3k...
Big Boi is a great rapper, but we can never give him his due because we will always wonder how dope it will be with a 3k verse. Big Boi makes great music, it would have been epic with 3 k verse tho.
And 3k is on another level, Big Boi is great. But like the other poster said, 3k is a genius. It takes us months... even years to understand exactly what 3k was saying in that song. His metaphors are in the stories. Andre makes the shyt poetry. He makes it art with just the words. Its nothing like it...

I prefer big boi's songs over 3k's. although i believe 3k verses have a bit more enlightening content. Them together is like the power rangers combining,they cover the ignorance social ills, ignorance, deep fantasy shyt all at once

Big Boi is a very good rapper, but Andre was the main draw for me. He consistently stood out on the first four OutKast albums... then he basically retired as a rapper.

Not one person in this whole thread downplayed Big Boi... Prefering one over the other isn't downplaying the other.. And there were plenty people back in the day that thought both were dope but preferred 3k over Big, and I'm from ATL... Aint no one rewriting anything... You can toss your conspiracy theory to the bushes
