I've never heard this much "referee/cheating" talk regarding the NFL (Chiefs)

Kinda crazy. Social media, YouTube, real life as well.

We heard about the Patriots spying and the balls etc, but those weren't regarding the refs in-game. And yes we knew you couldn't hit Brady too hard, but it feels different now with all this talk.

Everyone is talking about it either being blatant, or some saying it seems odd....but there's nothing to it and it shouldn't detract from their greatness.

Its Chiefs fatigue odee status...even the pats didn't go to this many SBs in such a short window, and no one has ever played for a 3-peat.

With that said, there are some questionable calls and shyt that goes the chief's way.

It's a combination of things like the referees protecting Mahomes on these "late hits", some aren't late at all, some of it is baiting along the sidelines, while other QBs aren't receiving the same benefit of the doubt and then there's some random calls in-game that seem suspect like when the Bills were driving in the 4th quarter last night and got stopped on a 4th and short. A play or two before that was a clear first down with a bad spot. The actual 4th down was very close, could have gone either way but it went to the Chiefs. Then there's the Worthy catch that obviously hit the ground.

It's a lot of things that add up and people are hyper focused on the Chiefs because these are all marquee playoff games. It could just be that officiating is terrible all around the league because we do see bad calls every week in most games.

I bet on the Chiefs at least 4 times this year and won each bet. I had the Chiefs/Eagles 2-pick parlay last night too, won that. I'm being objective. The Chiefs have won me money but I'm betting on them in part because I expect things to go their way

The difference between now and the past is that with cameras everywhere and replay, if the refs get something wrong, people cry cheating.

In the past they wouldn't even have the right view for a call and it couldn't be changed anyway. As a Falcons fan I've seen plenty of games where the 49ers got some bullshyt calls.

when the Chiefs always get every call in crucial moments, it's not "random" anymore.

As a person who don’t wanna see KC in a SB for the rest of my life. There’s one thing about Mahomes that I’ve heard recently, and really never thought about.

The dude is a master of the rule book. He plays football with high iq like a basketball player. He draws fouls by legally “manipulating” rules made to for example protect QBs, which can be compared to Embiid or prime Harden basically jumping into people and catching fouls. Throws to cats that can only be caught up with through contact like holding etc. On that end I can’t hate the refs or the player, it’s all in the game.

Then you have the fact that people don’t even know the rules cause they are complex. And whenever something unusual happens in a KC game (happens to every team all the time), the people go at the refs without understanding that the refs actually understand what they don’t.

Then of course you have the regular home field advantage. Which is true for all teams.


But the worst is people just challenging everything as cheating. Like they were screaming that the 4th down was clearly over the line. And then you look at photos from all angles and you need FBI forensics to call it. And if that’s the case then obviously they shouldn’t give a it.

People have fukking amneisia. Pats was wayyy worse in the officiating department, the difference is, that was the 2000s and there werent as many outlets for crybabies to be heard, Chiefs are just the social media-era Patriots. Plus Pats were literally caught and documented as cheaters, it's not the same. But it all really stems from the fact that people simply hate success.
