lol @ that being emmy winners. Howd they even get passed the pitch without being thrown out their heads from the AMC offices.
Cause it's the best written and acted television show since The Sopranos and The Wire

I'm stuck on Season 2. shyt is repetitive. I can't get into it.
I'm a huge fan of MM myself.. but seriously how would you pitch this show to a network especially if you don't have a big name in the industry?

Mad Men is fukking boring. There is not entertaining about watching middle aged men cheating on their wives and lighting up a stog every 5 minutes.

That's what happens when you're a guy who wrote for and later produced The Sopranos. You can pretty much write your own ticket and that's what he did
Show is a VERY slick way to do blatant product placement. If you notice, a lot of their clients are companies that still do business to this day (Lucky Strike, Ocean Spray, Honda motorcycles, Chevrolet)
The product placement seemed more obvious in the last season but this show is an advertisers dream. Can only imagine the under the table being exchanged with these companies, AMC and the shows runner
