its not a case of representing europe....american soccer supporters cannot compare in any way shape or form to soccer supporters elsewhere in the world....
fans are regularly killed over teams.... and if you werent being so blindly patriotic you would see that......
to stay on topic the only reason home court should matter would be travelling distance and supporters....trust me in american sport home support is not a factor..... teams actually fear going to galatasary (sp) or boca juniors etc...
and for the record i was born in the US but im Nigerian and I now am in the UK
you are not too intelligent, friend. Home field advantage exists in EVERY team sport. It is more than just having criminals with nothing to live for in attendance.

basketball its very important. You're shooting at a goal set by a background that ur not used to....lighting you're not used to, and just other things.
