I hope to one day convince the black population to take inventing things seriously. U will not be free if u keep having to pursue an education, long after u graduated school - which is the case with modern occupations, especially tech.

Black people invented a lot of things we use today already

until nikkaz tool up and take respect on the battlefield, nothing will change

people don't want to hear that, but that's what it is

that's why you got jews saying stop crying about the N word, what the really mean is, either do something or shut up, we tired of babying you and tolerating you, these people do not respect black people because black people will not go to war against them

We actually don’t even have to go to war. But it is my fervent belief if blacks start creating companies which are depended on by the masses, we will stopped being looked at as “that helpless race of people who must be babied, pitied”.

Now, there will be fellow blacks who will stand as belligerent opposition to this advancement but I know exactly how to deal with them. God willing, in my lifetime the black race will ascend from being last.

Just started working a 9-5 after having 2 years off.

-it’s feels like prison
-everyone seems stressed and pissed.
-people take the job and themselves to serious.
-I do 10 hours of actual work a week.

it’s seems like these type of jobs where made for the family man. Im single with a place to live and have very minimal bills, I’m working this job and I kinda feel stupid. Like I’m just wasting my life away.

the only benefit is I work for a pension, so when I do decide to retire after 55 I get a pension.

An 8 hour chunk in the middle of the day dedicated to "work" is a ridiculous concept, however I feel more companies are becoming flexible with schedule and expectations, especially those with remote and/or global staff, but people are scared to ask.

The company I work for now is chill af. I discussed flexibility in the interview but even after hired told my manager I was struggling with the expectation of being at the computer for 8 hours. He basically told me I wasn't expected to do that and it was ok to break up the day. I've been good since then.

Work is supposed to be a mutually beneficial arrangement and just being hired/paid, isn't a good enough benefit, imo. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want and move on if they aren't offering it.

How do people say the bold with a straight face and in the same breath as hating the day to day aspects of the job? Unless you're age 53, you're really mapping out long term misery for a pension?

While I'm well aware that it's not for everyone I LOVE office life. 8:30-4:30, one hour lunch, Mon-Friday. Do my work peacefully, management is laid back and allows me to work without micromanaging. :win:

The 2 worst things about the old 9-5 (pre-pandemic) is the concept of a lunch break, being told WHEN you are hungry. Like, what grown man has to ask permission for WHEN to get nourishment for his OWN body?? :mindblown:

Thats that fascist nonsense is why I'm glad that The Great Resignation is happening now. These employers need to know that Indentured Servitude is never the wave for long term mental health. Humanity was never meant to be in a cubicle for 40 years.
