A young Hoyas A.I Go HAM to Ghost:dj2: in the locker room, 90s Kid:boss: To
start the doc off with LiL Africans saying how much of a jerk he was to them, rubbed me the

wrong way, tho. It reminded me of the Coli Philly Bro that said he treated common folks up there like :trash: I had no incline of how much an a$$hole Iverson was while I stan'd him in
highschool:no: That crossover-stepback THREE-walkover Lue was the highlight for me, tho:laff: All these years, and I never knew CaCsucKKKas:evil: was behind that bowling alley brawl. Stern was so aggy that his players looked like they just walked off a Roc-A-Fella/State Property video:stylin: If The Answer humbled himself, he could have walked away from the game in a better light:salute::aicmon::mjcry:

Dude changed the whole NBA culture single handedly. I'm glad he got a documentary. It's much deserved.

Must realize that Allen Iverson was 6' 160 lbs. and made in game dunks in traffic look normal. Especially during his rookie season.

he was definitly a freak of nature and had physical gifts that get overlooked...from the hangtime, big hands, long arms and of course the speed...alog of which allowed him to pull off those crazy moves on the ground and midair...i think his positions in football bein his first sport helped alot too,to be that size and go that hard in traffic..

I understand for jokes you interpret his "practice" speech as "who gives a fukk about practice?", but if you legitimately thought he meant anything but "why are we wasting time with this press conference about practice?" idk...

The "how is practice gonna make my teammates better tho":lolbron:

i think they was there because Larry Brown said he didnt give a fukk about practice though:patrice:...the rant definitly blew shyt up somewhat out of context like he was saying practice should be abolished,so i see what you saying:lolbron:

Yeah all of that definitely came into play. I also think dude was a trailblazer when it came to flashiness and dribbling style.

Even culturally I think AI is the reason why basketball got fused into entertainment with players popping up in music videos and not just to take some eye candy role for a female artist either. It was almost like they wanted to be like AI vs basketball players wanting to be like an artist. Dude made the "cool kids" care more about basketball than any other player in history. It's probably because at his frame it made cats believe they could start dunking all over the place and the fact that dude's individuality made him seem rebellious and intriguing to cats from the outside. Even to today you can't tell that guy how to dress/how to look. AI was a craftsman playing basketball, not simply a craftsman at basketball.

Interest in sports imo has fallen off somewhat to the youngsters today, but I think a major part of that is there has been no player like AI to make that leap. Somebody that is so unique that it nearly pulls you in to watch. Right now you have bigger points guards being what it takes to win, but that makes it unrelatable to most cats. You gotta understand, the average person didn't/doesn't even know what a "crossover" is/was. AI made that a household term, even if cats don't know what it is, the fact that the term is that famous is because of AI.

That's why when cats shame AI by talking about him playing "hero ball" and talk about winning, they're missing the bigger picture imo. Something that transcended sports.
