Lets keep it 100. J.COLE has yet to drop an album on the same level as Friday Night Lights and The Warm Up. His debut was disappointing. Born Sinner was good but not great and not something you want to revisit and listen front to back.

I'm still confused on why he left all of the best tracks in his studio sessions on the Truly Yours series. His truly yours series really showed the artist he was SUPPOSE to be. It was some of his most creative and introspective storytelling shyt we seen from him since his early days. Rise Above, Cousins, Can I Holla At Ya, 3 Wishes, Tears For ODB. Your really got to hear and see Cole.

Because born sinner was a concept album for the most part, those songs wouldn't have fit

haha, that first snippet..
"do you want to be happy?" sounding like that goofball Game when he tries that crying sounding shyt.

2nd, 3rd and 6th snippets sound pretty nice...rest sounds like typical Cole..could take or leave it.

someone should tell Cole, like they should have on the last album, to leave the samples from classic hip-hop records alone, you'll never do them justice..especially the Give Up The Goods sample.
