Yeah it's not a bad song at all but it's prob the worst on the album. NTS is the perfect outro for this album to me.
Yeah, for sure. I definitely like the whole speech he's doing here. That's real.

Besides it's not like some classic albums didn't have a questionable song on there. Reasonable Doubt had Ain't No Nikka, and Aquemini had Mamacita.
Cole gave us the debut on his third...
Right. No album is perfect, and that's not what constitutes as a classic anyway. Backseat Freestyle off of Good Kid MaaD City isn't the best song on its own, but together with the vision in mind, it works. That's what a classic is all about, consistency throughout the album and proper execution. Not a bunch of hot songs that'll get played out in a week, that's what mixtapes are for. Albums are for substance and artists should be focused on presenting a work of art to the people that's worth that $10 or $20 out of their paychecks. Something that can change their lives. And classic rap albums do that. Classic rap albums connect with the people, which matter a lot more than charting on Billboard but is also a benefit. Which is why you ain't hearing nikkas claim Iggy dropped a classic with her shyt. lol

Exactly.![]()
