Finally got a chance to stream and see what the fuss is about

Wow.

This song took so long to grow on me and its weird.

Cause I'm a huge Cole fan. But I just read about people loving this song.

And just now, it just clicked. The whole song is dope. But the beginning of it, before it goes into the chorus, its probably the most amazing thing I've ever heard. At least the last two lines.

"Very bad reason not to go.

Terrible reason not to go."

It fit so perfectly in the image he created with someone who's scared of flights. Just people with phobias. Its just an absolutely beautiful image, I feel. Not just with phobias, but with fear overall. Its just a beautiful, subtle image I feel. The vocals there are absolutely phenomenal.

"She asked me if I'm scared to fly...To tell the truth, I'm terrified.."

Yeah, that shyt is dope. The album falls off slightly after that song though, imo.

But to be honest. As a Yeezy/Lupe/Gambino stan....this shyt has been done before. and I've seen it done better.

It just had the feel of a watered down BTI to me. nikkas stay jockin my GOATS. Bino did the App for his concert...then Drake n Weezy did one. stole the idea. Bino had nikkas come see the apartment of the kid thats talked about in the BTI album. and Cole does a concept about his old home and lets fans come see it. Bino grows the hair out and this nikka rockin the same exact cut. If he throw on short shorts its a wrap.

Actually Lupe started that dirty fro movement before the dreads. Hov attempted but couldnt take it no more..lookin like a fuzzy ass camel.

But overall ratings i'd give a 3/5.

Musically, this album sounds Cole messes with Chance the Rapper. The paragraph you wrote sounds like you're hating though

The album falls off after St. Tropez? GOMD and No Role Modelz are amongst the best songs on the album

It just sounded juvenile and corny. Nothing really introspective, deep or thought provoking. Ni felt like I didn't need to know that. When a rapper has to many songs about girls he's had a easy life and may need to come up with some better concepts. J cole has no imagination
