If you haven't noticed... nothing really leaks weeks in advance anymore. This isn't out of the norm. I think it has to do with how the streaming sites are set up.

I'd take a cohesive well thought out 10 track album where every song is at least good over a 15 track album, that has a weak track throwing off the flow of the album every 3 tracks any day. I want my favourite artists to release quality over quantity every time.

I'm not talking about illmatic either I just mean in general.

Shorter doesn't correlate to cohesive or quality

If I don't like a song I can just skip it

But I also think wasting time trying rank and review and place albums in some type of pantheon is silly. I also have the feeling the need to want to do this is why people want shorter albums

So just get me the songs and let me decide what I won't to skip over

You're right, but it does correlate to quality over quantity, but then that's all down to opinion anyway I guess.
