I never gave this album a fair shake. Listened to it once or twice and never touched it again. I'll revisit it.

Easily his worst album imo, Cole World was weak too but at least you can still enjoy a good amount of those tracks, I really fukked with Immortal, Deja Vu, Neighbors & 4 Your Eyez...

but 4 good tracks on a 10 track album for a talented artist like Cole is wack, even more so considering the three tracks that he dropped around the same time are better than most of the stuff on the album...hate when artists do that

I completely understand the hate it received at the time though.

This album still recieves harsh criticsm and rightfully so.
There is nothing passionate about this project. Cole sounds like he's going through the motions to fulfill a contractual obligation.
