Wasn’t really feeling this album at first especially after following Forest Hills Drive but over time I’ve played this album to death. Some real grown man, personal songs. The title song is up there with the GOAT storytelling rap songs even folding clothes ain’t as corny as I thought when it first dropped, I get the message of it.
i think i've shared on here before, my dad died the same day this album dropped.
that whole week i was listening to it as i was driving around making arrangements, closing out accounts, doing all that shyt you gotta do when someone passes away.
it really shaped how i view this album. one of my favorite of all time. i can't really listen to it unless i'm in a certain mood though.
