He said a long time ago that he wasn't gonna be putting music out like that because he wanted people to be excited when he released music.

all i did is point out the obvious. comparing the rate a nikka who drops and moves 30k to the rate a nikka with gold and platinum plaques/Grammy nominations and the whole 9 releases music = not smart. J. Cole is a bankable brand. Curren$y is a still-up-and-coming-after-10-years-in-the-game ass rapper. this dude performing in front of a few 100 people in shytty venues. he needs to drop all the music he can.
