Honestly, Id take the second half of his debut over this right now. But that could change. Overall, he stepped up and made a well-rounded album thats more accessible. Its too bad he uses these Timbo/808s n Heartbreak drums everywhere

His content hasnt really progressed and its like the end of Sideline Story was where he basically gave us his mission statement. This is just more upbeat but content-wise its kinda the same (racial identity, artistic compromise, being in Hov's shadow, respecting women vs. hard on hoes mentality etc).

Good album tho. He played into his strengths and reinforced all the things people like about him. I really dig that he produced this whole thing. Solid 7.5 and that could change for the better

This is album is definitely better than his first album, I can see how people are saying he isn't rapping about anything but really he drop some gems in there.

Plus dude is on tour getting money and seeing groupies left and rigt that is his reality now so that will definitely be reflected in the album..

It is a solid 7.5 - it lacks edge and creativity (e.g. she knows).

Nonetheless, Good Job Cole even though you played it safe with some of these songs.
