Well I haven't read through this whole thread but it seems like some people really love it and some people just think its meh.
I was pretty unimpressed on first listen, but the album grew on me a bit after a few more listens.
Posted up my track-by-track at The Essence of Rap & Hip-Hop: J. Cole - Born Sinner (Review).

yep they have that Nas vs Jay thing going on without the beef.
However most of Coles haters does not seem to be Drake stans and Drake haters does not seem to be Cole stans.

Anyone who doesn't like this album just has never liked cole, which is okay or just likes to hate for some reason
This album shows a lot of progression from cole and he remains himself who has been throughout the album at the same time,which is hard to. if you were fukking with cole from the beginning, of if you fukk with FNL there is absolutely no reason to not like this album, that is all
