I'm definitely really liking this album. Its clear that he studied the greats before him and interpreted a sorta of 90s vibe with the album(The jawns where he sampled Tribe and Outkast's Art of Story Telling) The production style suits the vibe of the album.
Runaway, Forbidden Fruit, and Chain Today are certainly major brightspots. Im loving those jawns

After a week, this shyt has settled in and it's a great album.
The more you listen to it, the more seamless and well put together you realize it is.

I'm hesitant to use the word "great." But it's a good album. Great to me = 9 or higher. I can't go that far.
Initially it was a 3.5/5 for me.
Then I got the better link and it went up to 3.75... now I got the deluxe and just keep throwing it on every now and then... it's crept up to about a 4.25/5
Only song I don't like is that Ain't That Some shyt interlude (should have kept that off and replaced it with Kenny Lofton)
Just listening to it from start to finish just gives off a sense of cohesiveness that I skimmed past the first few times I checked it out. It's a grower that's for sure.

Trust me, you need to check it out asap, shyt flows into the deluxe cuts perfectly.
Plus albums like Stillmatic and Blueprint wouldn't be 5 mics without their bonus tracks.

I only like a 2 or 3 of those. Glad they weren't on the album.
Cole sitting there likewhen he heard Yeezus.
all the people will hear Yeezus and go "this is not the Kanye i loved from 10 years ago" and will drift towards the closest thing and it's Coles album which just happens to be dropping the same day.
oh, and Villuminati is already the most overrated song off this album..Runaway is probably the best.
Cole made a good album just off the fact i'm actually still listening and talking about it a week later.
his first was made into an EP and the rest tossed in the bushed after two listens..don't think i've listened to it since.
Kanye could've made this album in his sleep.
That's my biggest criticism of this album. It's derivative. It's a mixture of Ye's first two albums but not as good.

The bonus songs are crack even tho Miss America and nikkaz Know are already old
The 50 feature is tight but only thing is dude is trying to hard to replicate that GRODT sound when he never can or will be at that point musically again
