I've seen enough rappers crew members write full songs for them to not put it past them. Meek Mill almost exposed how a LOT of artists including dudes favorites past & present on here operate. But because Hip Hop is supposed to be more authentic cats brainwash themselves to believe that their favorite artist must've only borrowed ideas or a couple lines or a hook when it's pretty known behind the scenes how this works. It's really not that difficult for someone who can write to mimic an artists style & shop full songs & verses to them. Artists are products & as much as they tour & have to record it would be impossible for them to put out as many songs & features as they do if they really had to sit down & write them themselves.

The game is slowly being exposed & it's gotten to the point where the younger fans don't even care if Drake writes his own music or not anymore & within' 10 years it'll be clear that these artists are nothing more then Images being marketed to the public if that makes sense.

Music "Business"... key word... BUSINESS. I lost a LOT of respect for some of my favorite rappers when I first was introduced to the Illusion...

Favorite rappers like who? Pm me if you must. I want receipts

It was in that ghostwriter thread. Apparently Chance was originally supposed to be the feature but Def Jam switched it to J.Cole. I think that part is true. Whether or not Cole just took what Chance already had and used that or rewrote it is what I've always been confused about
They obviously meant the slot was originally intended for Chance the Rapper.

Yeah Chance was originally on it SUPPOSEDLY & Def Jam switched it to J. Cole because nobody really knows Chance like that in the Mainstream Audience. Jeremih & Chance manager are both good friends & both from Chicago so it would make sense. I think cats are slowly waking up to the idea that Rappers aren't that much difference from Pop Artists as far as letting people write whole verses for them...
:what: I can't believe u nikkas really not comprehending the situation. The song was originally supposed to have Chance on it. They put Cole on it instead. And some how in y'all brains y'all come up with Cole rapping Chance's verse? Damn this Drake situation got nikkas stupid.
