Maybe cause he’s light skinned but dude has always rubbed me the wrong way

Especially Forrest Hill Drive and onwards…like I have the same problem with Donald Glover…the put on fake expression/emotionless act never not comes off like “I’m the smartest nikka in the room” syndrome.

his music (Cole) is like the equivalent of complimentary donuts and coffee at a best western. Sure, its there, its free, but after you have it you feel nothing after the fact. Don’t even make you shyt.

Like we could all find better rappers on various sites that put out better stuff then dude. Only most recent thing he did was the feature with 21, but even then, he just has this condescending ass tone to everything he does

Cole has been an interesting case to me. He has some songs I like and I can recognize his appeal to those he appeals too but he is music has always just been blah to me. Still unsure how he became as big of an artist that he is. I do give him props for how he moves and pushes his associated artists though.

He's a Black Logic, appeals to the lowest common denominator but has a enough skill to be somewhat respectable.

I usually like all the Cole tracks I listen to, but I just don't feel the need to look for them. I don't think I've ever listened to an entire album tbh. I might be missing on something but there's just "something" missing for me. Kind of opposite of Kendrick for me : I listen to every album he drops, but often don't really feel it like that ...not everything is for everyone, even though they're both obviously talented
