Listened to this album about 20x yesterday. Nothing stuck.... Don't see how you guys like this guy. Just a bunch of nothingness.

FRIENDS is heat.

It really is true. You can't judge a J. Cole album off the first listen. You really have to marinate with it. Crazy. I never believed it until I just started paying attention.

I'm giving this the following grade. (Just for reference 200% makes this a classic)

The Kill Edward album is gonna be divisive as hell. It's gonna be his Relapse album

I’m one of those people that always criticize Cole for being predictable and plain with his albums

That being said, this album is pretty damn good. The best I’ve heard from Cole.

I hope kenny and jermaine usher in an age of lyricism over these types of beats. They got the songwriting shyt down in terms of catchy hooks and still not dumbing down.

I was just listening to the album and didn't look at the credits so I thought that was just J.Cole on auto-tune with extra voice effects. I didn't realize that was supposed to be a different artist.

It is but I completely missed out on the joke because I was just listening to the album not reading anything. I just assumed that's who it was anyway.
