I’ve never seen anyone say Cole subject matter is super redundant at that point.

If the music was great it wouldn’t matter but when you release two wack projects in row is stands out more

Cole & Kendrick are going in two different directions at this point

Cole is killing features and making forgettable projects

Kendrick is making big projects and has terrible features

Album hasn’t been out 24 hours yet it’s forgettable. Do You guys listen to music or do you just skim through it?

The last half of this album is better than the last half of 2014 FHD. You say Cole subject matter hasn’t changed but has he spoke on taxes and government greed before? Or substance abuse is n the household in depth?

Dudes just hating. This album sounds like what we should’ve got after false prophets/everyone dies.

This is a dope album to me. WAAAAAAAY better than his last joint. Way better. I dont get it. Dude is rapping on this. And the subject matter is mature and engaging. ATM, Photography, KOD, Movit8 are fire. The album is good.

He’s rapping his ass off throughout the album. But Cardi album is better?

I've listened to it 5 times today and everything before the 2nd verse of Brackets is still . It gets better after that but the singing fukks everything up

He has spoken about his distrust and displeasure of government plenty of times

he's talked about substance abuse in & out the household on numerous songs.

Y'all say people are hating when the critiques of this music has been pretty fair. The rapping is top notch and damn near flawless but everything else surrounding comes together that creates something that is not easy to listen to and not very replayable.

dont know about that third guy you mention

but that Shawn nikka and the twins are known Cole fans so ofcourse they gon ride for this.

expecting them to not get at this is like expecting white kids to not like a Eminem album

I like a couple of the early tracks but the album takes off with ATM and just floats

Kevin's Hart etc. This might be my favorite Cole album. I have to listen a few more times straight through

1. just because this album just like 4YEO was a concept album doesn't make it a good album. It's a 2/5 just like 4YEO was 2.5/5. I see "stans" are trying to use that as am excuse just like last time. and I'm a fan I've bought every physical copy and been to two of his shows.

2. This isn't enjoyable! it's nothing to actually make you think, party, smoke to, or what? He's not displacing great production skills, new flows, great punchlines, mind blowing entendres, amazing stories, or nothing.

3. What's the purpose? it sounds like this took two weeks to make. the last three tracks sounds the best and that's because he said he went back and worked on them the most. the same with his verse on this



jeezy said he gave Cole the beat and Cole said it took three months to perfect this verse

4. It's safe to say that Cole isn't in the top three with drake and Kendrick anymore I'm replacing Sean with him. Yes Cole would sell records and is popular but right now this isn't that shyt and Cole is an amazing artist to me but he doesn't have thst fire anymore. Yes Cole is 33 and is evolving but just like a jigglypuff to wigglytuff every evolution isnt a good one
