You really have to plan and have a strategy to keep people's attention for more than a week with music now.

It's like a checkpoint system... once you get to the next Friday, whatever dropped the previous Friday is old news
:wow:
That's crazy it goes at that rate, that's how things just end up not mattering in the long run because of distorted history records. :francis:

J. Cole's 'ATM' Appears in Latest NBA Playoffs Commercial: Exclusive

Bu-bu-but J Cole doesn't spend money on promo :duck:

bu-bu-but J Cole is a real artist. He doesn't copy others :duck:

Breh saw Ducktales copy the music/style of 6 God/Migos/mumble rap for an entire album, force the yawn "Humble" single into the NBA playoffs and thought "I can do that too!!" :deadrose:

It's not like I didn't warn you :yeshrug:
There's a beat somewhere on King of Dull that's obviously a "10 Bands" ripoff
:heh:
He doesn't need love because he's the GOAT

:francis:Does this clown above me know that atm is like the official song for the offs and that artist don’t play for that :picard:

And again before Kendrick was even poppin Cole had the official Espn baseball show theme music.
Artist may not pay for it but it’s political. Remember when they made the announcement that “I” was going to be the official song when no one ever like it

I'm not really feeling it.

I understand the message, but;
  1. He spend too much time "parodying" modern Rap music ... I got as repetitive as the real thing
  2. Yes, J. Cole, you need features or atleast different producers (Ya'll don't wanna hear Cole on a Primo or 9th beat)
  3. I'm sure Cole really loved DAMN
  4. The whole idea of him going in on drug use in society, then being like fukk politics shows me Cole doesn't really educate himself. These white folks killing themselves use politics to fix it. No, voting isn't the gonna work by itself (see Doug Jones), but, you're a millionaire, I'm sure the 'Ville would like you speaking on their behalf with them Jay-Z politic connections (see Meek Mill).
Boring is a useless word. Cole can still spit, but, I felt too many times, damn fam, I get it, make love, not drugs, DARE to be difference, just say no

3/5 - Not a bad album, great idea, I love the sequencing, but, it reminds me too much of DAMN
